Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
GTAW uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to create the arc, and the welding area is shielded by an inert gas, typically argon or helium. This shielding prevents contamination from the surrounding air, resulting in clean, high-quality welds with minimal spatter. It’s particularly valued for producing strong, aesthetically appealing welds that don’t require much post-weld cleanup.
